Useful Applications for Windows

A list of my most used applications for Windows :

• Media players :

1. Winamp - music only.
2. BS player - movies only.
3. VLC player - movies (when something doesn't work with BS player it's bound to work with VLC)

•  Web Browsers :

1. Mozilla Firefox - very good and stable browser.
2. Google Chrome - they say it's the fastest browser, anyway it's my 2nd favourite because of functionality and good minimalism looks.

• Firewall and Anti-virus :

1. Comodo Internet Security.

• PC Maintainance :

1. Ccleaner - cleans registry, browser cookies, startup programs and uninstalls programs.

•  IM + Social Networking + mail client :

1. Digsby - best solution there is out there. You can connect Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo messenger and MANY MORE into 1 application.
2. Yahoo messenger - since Digsby I don't use yahoo messenger anymore, but I keep it as a backup IM.
3. Skype - best for Voice and Video calls.
4. Mozill Thunderbird - mail client.

• CD / DVD Burner :

1. Nero

•  Torrent client :

1. uTorrent

• Desktop Gadgets :

1. Google Desktop Gadgets - you can add Google Calender, Weather and many more to your sidebar.
